While dedicated clubs exist at national levels, there is a growing need for a centralized, international network to facilitate communication, and share knowledge globally. The International Schipperke Network is proposed to fill this void. By uniting the global Schipperke community, we can more effectively address breed-specific challenges, promote genetic diversity, and ensure our Schipperke’s distinct characteristics and spirited temperament are preserved for future generations.

Preservation of Core Type
We pledge to uphold the core breed standards, preserving the Schipperke’s characteristic silhouette, unique coat pattern (including the ruff, cape, and culottes), and fox-like expression. We oppose trends that alter the natural, hardy appearance that is essential to the breed’s identity.
Health & Longevity

We view the Conformation Ring and the Sports Field as equal pillars of the breed. A Schipperke is a working dog in a small package.
